Who this is for
Founders, core contributors, and council members who are about to launch a DAO on Solana or who inherited a governance structure they do not fully understand. You should arrive with at least one draft proposal or a list of decisions your community needs to make in the next quarter.
What you will leave with
By the end of the day you will have mapped your governance stack — voting plugin, treasury accounts, delegate rules — annotated a sample proposal with quorum and timelock requirements, and drafted a 90-day participation calendar for your community.
Session outline
Morning — Architecture review. We walk through your current or planned Realms configuration. Which councils exist? Who can create proposals? Where does veto power sit? We compare your setup against three Solana protocols facing similar scale and document gaps.
Midday — Live proposal lab. Using a anonymised proposal from a public Solana DAO, the group votes, discusses amendment options, and identifies where communication broke down before the vote. This is not role-play; we use real on-chain data.
Afternoon — Operating rhythm. You draft delegate onboarding criteria, a forum-to-vote checklist, and a treasury reporting cadence. We finish with a 30-minute Q&A on your specific constraints.
